This project was done for the client of one of our builders. The client had very specific needs and expectations regarding the layout and finish of the kitchen. They were amazed with the final product when completed as the style and finish complemented the rest of the renovation. The kitchen fitted in with the era of the house and became the most stunning room in their home.
Our client had tried unsuccessfully for many months to have someone help her with the design of her new kitchen. The existing kitchen was made of solid timber and had a small window and an external door in the corner. Both of these things prevented any real “flow” or sufficient daylight in the kitchen.
After discussion, GPS Cabinets designed the new kitchen with these changes in mind and our client decided that the new kitchen design was exactly what she had been looking for all the time. With the ability to use both corners and with a much bigger window we had achieved the desired result. Bench space almost doubled and the light was excellent to work in right up until dusk. On this project the plasterboard ceiling was peeling and looking shabby. GPS Cabinets replaced the plasterboard and cornice ready for the owner to paint. The kitchen is now our client’s “Dream Kitchen”.
This apartment at Newstead was looking very tired; the colour was very dated and some of the doors were in need of repair. Our clients requested a quotation for the supply and installation of solid timber doors and panels. They also required some modifications to the existing cabinets to ensure more storage space. A minor rectification to the cornice was also necessary. On completion of the work the clients were “over the moon” with the look of their new kitchen.
This Pre-war cottage in Clayfield hadn’t had any changes to the kitchen in over 50 years. Our clients (Mother and Daughter) required positional changes to the appliances as some were not even invented when the kitchen was built. The movement of appliances enabled GPS Cabinets to design a completely new kitchen and use all available space to advantage. The completed Kitchen was everything the Clients had asked for and more.
